What is CNC Swiss Machining?
Designed for small, complex, high-tolerance parts
CNC Swiss machining is a precision manufacturing process designed for producing small-diameter components with complex geometries. Unlike conventional turning, the material is supported close to the cutting tool by a guide bushing, enabling stable and accurate machining of intricate features.
This process is particularly well-suited for small, slender, and high-detail components where stability is critical. The guide bushing design reduces deflection during machining, enabling consistent dimensional control, fine surface finishes, and efficient multi-operation processing in a single setup.
